World Class Professional Ballroom Coach arrived Macau!
Macau International Professional Ballroom Dancing Association and Starlight Dance Centre Macau had organized a successful Ballroom Dancing Lecture once again this year on the 17th July 2010. The lecture took place in the dancing studio of Starlight Dance Centre Macau. This time we had invited two world-class coaches of international ballroom dancing – Mr. Richard Gleave and Mrs. Anne Gleave. They are both famous and experience coaches with honorable and glorious achievements in professional ballroom dancing. Mr. Richard Gleave was the former 8 times World Professional Ballroom Champion and 8 times former British Open Professional Ballroom Champion. Mrs. Anne Gleave, an elegant and experience coach, had also archieved the title of World Professional Ballroom Champion and 3 times British Open Professional Ballroom Champion.
Mrs. Li Wong Hoi Ping, President of Macau International Professional Ballroom Dancing Association, expressed her thankfulness to our guest speakers in her speech. It is our great honor to have invited Mr. and Mrs. Gleave as our guest speakers this year. We are going to continue doing our best to provide activities and lectures for our domestic dancers, in order to maintain a high standard in international ballroom dancing.
The theme of the lecture base on the four main elements: ‘Body Weight, Space, Energy, and Time’. Our guest speakers explained thoroughly and demonstrated beautifully the relationship between these elements and dancing. The audiences were deeply involved and enjoyed the teaching from both top world-class coaches.
Starlight Dance Centre Macau – The Latin Show Dance
As for entertainment, we had arranged a Latin Show Dance during the lecture, performed by our 'Ten Dances' youth students of Starlight Dance Centre Macau. Their show dance has brought up a round of excitement among the audiences.
The audiences were so reluctant to let go our guest speakers when it came to the end of the night. The feedbacks from our audiences, needless to say, can be described in two words – “Super Superb!”
All of us, organizers and domestic dancers, are all looking forward that Mr. Richard Gleave and Mrs. Anne Gleave to visit Macau again in the near future. |
