I. For the above categories, a double entry between Standard and Latin section is not allowed in all   
events.
II. Professional Asian Closed - Asian nationality is required of either one of partners.
** All the entries and rules will be based on Syllabus of 2011 Asian Open Dance Tour from Asian Dance Council. **

Prize Money
Prize Money will be paid in US Dollars.
All competitors will be required to pay 20% income tax out of the prize money.

Accommodation

  • The Organizer will provide a twin-room at the official hotel on 4th & 5th March, 2011, for couples who ranked within top 24 in 2010 Professional World Ranking after World Masters, and also for the couples who rank within top 12 in 2010 Asian Ranking.
  • Couples have to complete their hotel check-in on 4th March, 2011 before 6:00 p.m. Unless the Organizer was informed by couples in writing for their late check-in, the Organizer will assume the couples have arranged for their own hotel accommodation.   

Travel Expenses
Travel expenses will be borne by the competitors.

 

 

(D) Pro -Am – 5 Single Dances (Standard / Latin)

No prize money will be awarded.
 

(E) Asian Under 21 – 5 Dances (Standard / Latin)
1st place: HKD1,300 2nd place: HKD1,100 3rd place: HKD500

 

(F) Asian Under 16 – 5 Dances (Standard / Latin)

No prize money will be awarded.
   
 
  • For Category (D), medals will be presented for couples who ranked 1st to 6th places of each single dance. Trophy will be presented for couples who ranked 1st place in overall 5 dances. 
  • For Category (E) & (F), medals will be presented for couples who ranked 1st to 6th places.
  • For Category (F), certificates will be presented for couples who ranked 1st to 12th places.

Entry

  • A double entry between Professional and Amateur section is not allowed.
  • Pro-Am events – competitors can select one dance or above (Standard / Latin), the entry fee will remain the same as HKD2,500. If competitors select Ballroom and Latin events simultaneously, another HKD2,500 will be added up.  
  • Under 21 – competitors who were born on 1st January, 1990 or later.
  • Under 16 – competitors who were born on 1st January, 1995 or later.

(Passports are required to be shown upon the enrollment, the age limit is based on the older partner)

  • Couples “Under 21” cannot apply for “Under 16”.
  • Couples “Under 21” may also apply for “Amateur Open”.
  • Couples “Under 16” cannot apply for “Amateur Open”.
  • Couples “Under 16” may also apply for “Under 21”.
  • Multiple entries will be charged base on the full amount of the categories.    

Prize Money
Prize Money will be paid in Hong Kong Dollars.
